2015 Holiday Gift Guide

The few weeks left before Christmas are often spent in a whirlwind of gift shopping, decorating, and finding a happy balance – making sure every family member gets at least one special present underneath the Christmas tree. It’s hard to juggle all of these heartfelt holiday traditions and leave your bank account with a few dollars left over to treat yourself.

Holiday Gift Guide

Do you find it stressful to find gifts for everyone on your shopping list?

Do not fret! I’ve created a special holiday gift guide just for you. This will be a great way to check off everyone’s name from your gift list and because you are a reader here at B is for Bookworm, you can take advantage of all my affiliate discounts and holiday promotions!

I will categorize the gift guide and include the promotional codes to make it user-friendly. Just keep this page bookmarked for later use or subscribe to B is for Bookworm’s newsletter so that you stay informed of any new promotions that are running. Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest deals!

Take note: I am an affiliate to most of the gift ideas listed here, if you are to make a purchase through any of the links posted, I will make a small commission. You may or may not choose to shop through these links, but I greatly appreciate it if you would because this helps keep B is for Bookworm running.Gift Guide: Educational

 1. Peg Board SetMontessori Occupational Therapy Fine Motor Toy for Toddlers and Preschoolers. The Peg Board Set is a mommy win! I am happy that I got this for my toddler two years ago because it has gotten so much play action. This set has so much educational value – counting, sorting, patterning, and building fine motor skills. Plus, clean up is easy because the set has a drawstring backpack for easy storage.

2. Wooden Wonders Colorful Counting Number Stacker by Imagination Generation – A hands-on, stimulating, and fun way to learn to count from 0 to 9. I recommend this version because it’s wood crafted and designed with nontoxic paints. This counting system is practiced in Montessori themed learning because it can introduce what “zero” symbolizes as well as the numbers 1 through 9. You can get more Montessori math ideas on JustMontessori offered by Lisa Good, a Montessori teacher and homeschooling mom.

3. Educational Insights GeoSafari Jr. My First Microscope – Encourages an early love of scientific investigation and discovery! If your child is a science fan than the microscope from Educational Insights is a must have! It magnifies things by 8 times and it is in the 20 dollar range, which for little learners, is not too shabby. There is another model microscope that talks and comes with 12 prepared slides of various bugs for around 10 dollars more (Educational Insights 8800 Geosafari Jr. Talking Microscope).

Amazon’s Top Choices for Kids:

Online shopping is my favorite way to shop. I mean, who doesn’t like to browse and save products to their wish list while drinking coffee in their pj’s? It is the greatest thing since sliced bread and I hope you start your own wish list if you haven’t already.

Just create a free account with Amazon and then you can add anything to your wishlist. The best part about this is you can share your wishlist with others. For instance, if you’re having a birthday party or baby shower you can share your wishlist just like a gift registry.

The fun part about Amazon is all the reviews to read through. Some of them are hilarious and laugh out loud honest, well worth the time spent surfing the web in my honest opinion. However, these reviews also help me decide if I am going to buy the product based on other people’s experience with it first hand.

Enjoy looking through these top selected kid’s products, all based on Amazon’s purchase history which will comfort you in knowing that you’ve made the right gift choice for the little people in your life.

Amazon’s -The 12 Days of Deals offers top deals for each special person in your life, today’s deals are for the fashionista. Visit them tomorrow for more suggestions and savings.

Best Books of the Month – ( Baby-Age 2Ages 3-5 Ages 6-8 ) B is for Bookworm has gone book crazy this Christmas! Plus, I couldn’t make a gift guide without books included. Blasphemy!

Get creative and make a Christmas Book advent. I fell in love with bedtimestories.for.bigdreamers on Instagram when I was searching for some count down to Christmas ideas. I highly recommend browsing (stalking) them or other parents on Instagram for some inspiration. Check out who I’m following.

It’s kinda like Pinterest, because there is amazing photography to drool over and you can Pin Instagram pics too! Win Win, right?

I wrapped 25 books and placed them under the tree. Every night for bedtime, Princess goes and picks a wrapped book and gets a special bedtime story and reminder of how many days are left until Christmas. This helps for all the times I’ve been asked, “Is it Christmas yet?”

It feels great to create an excitement and joy for books early on in her life. I do love to build our home collection of books, but I don’t always love the cost. So, to save money I wrapped some library books for our Christmas countdown. Does that make me cheap? Well if I am then at least I have a few extra dollars for gifts 😎.

ISeeMe! is an online store that specializes in personalized children’s books and gifts. I have ordered ornaments, place mats, stickers, puzzles, and books from them and I cannot get enough of their stuff. You can get “My Nights Before Christmas” and “My Twelve Days of Christmas” personalized for a fun Christmas gift.

My Night Before Christmas Book Cover

A Touch of Dazzle– This is an Amazon Jewelry storefront with custom designed lockets with quotes like, “I Love You to the Moon and Back!” Jewels and charms float inside the locket and there is a wide choice of bracelets, earrings, and other dazzling jewelry. I am in love with their amazing colors and style.                                                                                                                                       A Touch of Dazzle
